So every year Matt’s fire department participates in the
annual community festival Pan-O-Prog and hosts a waffle breakfast as well as
rides in the parade. I’ve gone out the last several years and this year it was
even more fun with little Brinley!
She enjoyed her waffle this morning but the highlight of the
day was definitely the parade. It may have even been the highlight of her life,
she loved it so much! From the moment the first float went by she was clapping
her hands and waving at everyone. The only thing that kept making her mad was
the fact that Mommy wouldn’t let her run into the street and get run over. What
a mean Mommy! J
Then a float went by playing the Frozen theme song and she
started waving her hands in the air and dancing, it was the cutest thing I had
ever seen and reminded me so much of the little girl we say mesmerized by the
parade at Disney and I actually teared up. Oh Brinley you are so adorable you
make our hearts absolutely melt! It was so fun watching you have the best time
at the parade and it was truly a memory we will never forget.
We did have to chase you a bit and change positions to keep
you from trying to run into the street so we didn’t get a lot of pics. I
actually only got one selfie of you and me, but despite the lack of pics, I
will never forget this day!
