So last year we did a bit of a low-key birthday party when Brinley turned one (we had a one year-old, we were tired!!), but this year we decided that since we had just moved into our new house (more pictures to come, I promise!), it was a great chance to have all of our friends and family over and have a big party to celebrate our little princess!
I had a great time planning the party and we went all out and rented a bouncy castle, which was a huge hit. We kept the food simple and just did Arby's roast beef, chips, veggies and fruit. We got a double chocolate cake from Costco as well, which was delicious.
The party was princess themed and Brinley wore her Cinderella dress from Disney and we even had a Cinderella pinata for the kids.
And since our sweet little one has been incredibly blessed with lots of toys, books, etc. we opted to ask for no presents and instead shared her birthday with a great organization, Box of Balloons, who believes that every child's birthday should be celebrated. It was awesome to have our friends and family support such a great cause in honor of Brinley.
It was a great day and everyone had a blast, including the birthday girl!

| The bouncy castle was a big hit! (And this was actually after the impromptu fire station visit we decided to do for some church friends the morning of the party. A bit crazy but a lot of fun and glad more people got to enjoy the bounce house.) |
