Life with the Leibrocks: Disney Trip 2016!

This was the best family trip ever! We had an amazing time on what we hoped would be our last family vacation as a family of three as we had hopes to try for baby number two when we got home.

We had such an amazing time! We also made a really fun photo book so I won't go into a ton of additional detail here.

Brinley surprised us all and LOVED the rides! Her favorite was the seven dwarfs roller coaster. She also really loved meeting all of the princesses and characters. She gives huge hugs and doesn't want to let go. Not scared at all!

A highlight of the whole trip for us was going on Splash Mountain as family. Just that day Brinely was tall enough to go! It was amazing and a memory that I will never forget.

Saturday
- reflecting on the wonderful vacation that we've had and all of the awesome family moments (and how incredibly blessed we are)
- Brinley and mommy going to get our makeup done at Mac
- watching Brinley meet the pilots and talk to them. She's so sweet! We love her to pieces!!!
- hopefully this is our last trip as a family of three and we will be welcoming a new addition soon!

Friday
- watching her play in the pool by herself with the big girls and realizing that she's not a baby anymore!
- dolphin and shamu show
- Brinley talking in the Uber car the whole way home and the driver saying she is "so smart"

Thursday
- we didn't leap out of bed at 6 am when the alarm went off quite as easily as we did on Tuesday. Disney is wearing us down, but we were all excited for our last magic kingdom day.
- breakfast at be our guest was a bit of a disaster... Brinley was scared of the scratches in the west wing and the hated her breakfast. The only positive thing was that we all got to ride the mine ride again (we rode it 3 times overall!)
- we finally got Brinley her bubble maker and she LOVED it. It was so cute watching her run around and spread bubble joy every where. Definitely worth the $20.
- we made sure to get great seats for the parade and Brinley loved waving and blowing kisses to everyone. Flynn Ryder even blew her a kiss and pointed right at her, she was beaming and of course mama was tearing up. :)
- and in a big surprise, Brinley seemed to grow overnight and we all got to ride splash mountain together! (We'd measured her almost everyday of the trip and she was always just a tad too short to ride the 40 inch rides, but today she just made it!) it was really special to ride it all together!
- the last thing we did was see the talking Mickey at the town hall. Brinley wouldn't stop hugging him. It was too cute! (And we learned that Mickey also speaks Spanish, "say queso")
- night ended with us all going back to the hotel for swimming and pizza in our rooms. Mommy had a bit of a scare when Brinley ran right on the pool without her lift jacket on. I pulled her up quick but she was struggling and swallowed a bit of water. She learned her lesson though that while water is fun, she needs her life jacket and a grownup before going in.
- at the big pool Brinley met two girls from England and made friends with them. They played with her and it was so sweet to watch. At the end she hugged them both and gave them kisses. So sweet!

Wednesday
- slow start to the morning after a late late night
- realizing we lost brinleys magic band, getting a new one and that one not working...
- all Brinley wanted to do was pick up acrons, lol!
- Brinley putting clothes on mr toe
- playing in the sand at sunset
- ever after ride was really cool
- daddy stuffing himself on nachos then forcing himself to eat his lunch at akershus
- Brinley getting so nervous and excited to meet the princesses! (Belle, Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, Elsa and Anna)
- "me and mommy like to pound food on trips"
- "daddy, poop is not a memory"

Tuesday
- another rough start to the morning...brinley refused to wear her belle dress and once again insisted on long pants and long sleeves. Mommy was heart broken. :(
- daddy at cinderellas royal table "this is so stinkin fun!" "Does my hair look alright"
- mommy starting to cry as Snow White approached our table
- Brinley meeting Snow White, Cinderella, jasmine and aurora
- brinleys epic meltdown in the women's bathroom over not being able to use the little sink
- Brinley loving all the rides, especially the seven dwarfs mine roller coaster
- watching Brinley try to grab the 3D things in mickeys philharmagic
- daddy and Brinley getting to be actors in the enchanted tales with belle play
- getting all dressed up for mickeys Halloween party!
- the guy whispering "enjoy yourself" creepily on the haunted mansion ride.
- the stroller breaking :(

- getting home exhausted after 1 am!

Monday
- Monday started a bit rough...of course all the princess dresses are all too prickly and all Brinley wants to wear is pants!
- the water spray at the little mermaid show
- actually enjoying the beauty and the beast show
- Brinley sweeping the floor at dinner
- all of us asleep by 8:30 pm :)

Sunday
- switching hotel rooms and crazy Jess cramming all our stuff into the tiny car
- brinleys excitement over meeting the characters at tusker house. Pure joy! (And mommy cried)
- corn in mommys Diet Coke at lunch
- monkeys at the lion king show (I want to be a monkey too and do that)
- guy accidentally touching Jess's neck during the expedition Everest ride (at the scariest part!)
- b taking care of her Babies (Pluto pup and her new simba)
- b waking up from her nap in the stroller, pushing back the top, looking around and closing it abruptly again.
- the fat dad with the beer saying "I just gotta pee" and his son saying "you just Weeeent"
- riding the kali rapids ride over and over again and Brinley laughing at daddy as he got mad at mommy every time he got wet
- everyone loving our new new hotel room and Brinley getting really excited over her little bed with Pluto and Mickey on it and the "jelly beans" on the lights

Saturday
- wanting to turn around and go back to mn while waiting in line for the magical express (Brinley was super tired and being a bear)
- daddy and Brinley having fun swimming in the pool. Daddy lifting her feet up on his hands.
- awful dinner at coco bongos! Everything was cold, no drinks and mommy screamed when Brinley tried to eat a big bite of the chocolate center on her lava cake
- best moment of the day was family hugs, lots of kisses and singing the three little kittens song on the bus ride home
- the paw paw

This is our favorite picture from our whole trip. We have it framed in our house and look at it often and smile. It was such a moment of pure joy!

Such an amazing night! I loved dressing up with her! Definitely a mommy dream come true :)

We told her she could choose three things. This baby Simba was her first and she loved him. Took good care of him all week.

She started day 2 a bit cranky although you'd never know from this pic, ha! She cheered up pretty quickly though at the Disney Junior breakfast. She watches a lot of Disney Junior so she knew everyone!

She was a bit bummed that she wasn't quite tall enough for tower of terror but the pink donut helped cheer her up :) She wouldn't even let mommy have a bite, ha!

She wanted to sweep up after dinner, it was so sweet :)

I can't tell you how much I loved being Rapunzel with this girl. The Halloween party was so amazing and the decorations were incredible. Definitely a memory we will always cherish!
