Main thing was Brinley getting acclimated at her new school. She also spent a few days with Nana and Bapa after Becca was born so that she continued to feel special and it gave Mommy and Daddy a chance to get home from the hospital and settled in with the baby.
I took August pretty slowly as I was still recovering physically from the birth. And the weather was unseasonably cool for most of the month which was actually quite nice for our new little one.

| Lots of craft time at school. They learned about the countries and Brinley would come home telling us things about mummies in Egypt and the Amazon in Brazil. So cool! |

| I was an emotional wreck the last few days/weeks of pregnancy and the only thing that helped was lots of cuddles and snuggles with this girl. She was a balm to heal all my troubles and I will forever look back on those last sweet moments where she was an only child very fondly. |

| So we are going to Mexico in November and needed to get Becca and Brinley passports. I attempted to take passport photos of the girls and it was hilarious. Look at this baby mug shot! |

| We noticed sweet Becca having some projectile spit up frequently during weeks 1-2 and so I took her to Children's Hospital just to rule out pyloric stenosis. She doesn't have it, thankfully! Turns out mommy just has lots of milk and has to make sure Becca doesn't over eat... |

| Daddy has been really busy taking care of Ms Brinley so Mommy is with Becca most of the time, but wanted to be sure to get some pics with Daddy too. He adores his girls and baby Becca definitely has him wrapped around her cute little finger. |
