Okay, Buddy, these past 6 months got away from me but here's an update of your milestones during the second half of your first year of life. Boy have you grown so much!
Here are some milestones that I noted!
- You scooted for the first time on May 24th at 7 months. Before that, you'd spin yourself on the ground like a clock. We blame Nana as she was pushing on your feet, lol!
- You had the cutest fuzzy hair at 7 months (and still do!)
- June 2nd, you scooted over to mama for milk
- July 9th you pulled yourself up to a standing position holding onto the stool in the bathroom. Started to use the walker (9 months)
- July 10th, we noticed your first tooth popping through on the bottom left, middle. (9 months)
- July 29th, after a week of waking up and being inconsolable for an hour at night your two front teeth finally popped through and after that, you slept fine! Poor little guy!
- Sept. 12, noticed a third tooth on the bottom. You got 5 teeth in less than a month!!
- Oct. 1, two additional teeth popped through on the top and fourth one on the bottom. 8 total! Here's a few more things that you can do:
- you can high five
- wave buh-bye
- Say mama and dada
- Do "so big"
- Lots of babbling
- You were sick with rsv and teething so pretty miserable these last few weeks but once you got over your sickies, you were back to your happy little self again!
- Oct. 6, took one small step towards Brinley (almost 1 year), then on Oct. 20th you took two small steps and on Oct. 22 you took 5+ steps at Four Square!
- Oct. 24th you signed "more" when you wanted more grapes
- Somewhere in here you said your third word (behind mama and dada) which was "ball" you LOVE balls. They are your favorite and you can play with them for hours. We think you are going to be an athlete like your daddy!
You are so wonderful and so chill and happy! You are also super curious and VERY smart. We adore you, Buddy and talk about how cute and wonderful you are all the time. We are so so so grateful that God blessed us with you! What an amazing first year we had with our little guy. :)
