How cute are you? Such a proper little lady

Love this picture because this really captures your behavior right now. You are constantly moving your arms and legs and getting ready to go!
Oh baby girl, if we thought you were fun last month then you have really shown us how much fun you can be over the last few weeks. (I sense a pattern developing here where you will be knocking our socks off each and every month).
I'm beginning to understand why people say that parenthood is such a fun journey, because it is so amazing watching you reach all of these wonderful milestones along the way. You are developing into such a wonderful little girl and we cherish every glimpse of your personality that we see coming out.
You are the happiest little girl and everyone comments on how awesome your smiles are. You also freely give them out not only to mommy and daddy, but Grandmas, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles and complete strangers! You are quite the little charmer and everyone is simply mesmerized by those big blue eyes. I hope you never lose this inner joy Brinley and that you continue to share your beautiful smiles with everyone you meet.
You have become so much more active this month and are constantly moving your arms and legs. You've also gained a lot more hand control and are grabbing and playing with toys all the time. You officially grabbed your first rattle from mommy while we were out to brunch with Daddy and Nana. You were 14 weeks old.
Your favorite toy is still by far your baby Einstein bouncer and you now can reach both feet on the floor. You started to do this cute little thing with your feet when you are in it and it just cracks us up. You lift your feet up and inward and it looks like you are doing an Irish jig. Mommy and Daddy were so taken with this that we even filmed it and put it on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yvu2KOTonwE Your first YouTube appearance!
In other big news, you ROLLED OVER for the first time yesterday (Oct. 21)! Daddy had been out of town all weekend in Canada and you decided to welcome him home by peeing on him, pooping in the diaper he had just put on you and then puking all over your outfit. When he turned away to grab you a new outfit and then turned back around, you had rolled to your tummy. You have probably done it a dozen times since then and are very proud of yourself for your new skill. You are quite the rolling pro already, but still haven't figured out how to get off of your tummy but I'm sure that's right around the corner.
You are also still doing this silly little lip sucking thing that you do where you suck in your top lip over your gum and it makes your nose wiggle. It's so funny and I've never seen a baby do that! Mom is worried that you are going to get chapped lips though so I try and stop you every time you try. Such a silly bug!
You've also become more aware of your surroundings and love to watch the kitties run around and Birdie and Grandma and Grandpa's. We've taken you to the aquarium several times as well because you love looking at all of the fish and the different colored lights. In fact, Nana and Grandpa bought us a membership there as an early Christmas present so I'm sure we will be taking you there lots! It's so exciting for us because we know this is only the beginning of watching you enjoy see things and seeing your face light up in wonder.
You have been sleeping like a champ in your crib and pretty much only wake up once during the night to eat. Sometimes you sleep 6 hours and then wake up and other times it's 8-10. You still sleep late though and aren't up for the day until 8 or 9. Mommy typically puts you to bed as Daddy need to do homework after being with you all day. It's a special time for the two of us and I really cherish it. We have a great routine going where I sing you Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Amazing Grace and say our prayers. I always thank God for you and ask him to watch over you tonight and every night, and help us to wake to your smiling face.
Another really cute thing is the little tuff of hair on the top of your head has begun to form a mohawk. It's absolutely adorable!
You had your 4 month check-up today and you weigh 14 1/2 pounds and are 27 inches tall. You have grown 3 1/2 inches in 2 months and are in the 99th percentile for height. No wonder you've had some fussy moments lately! You're growing like crazy!
We recently moved you up to a size 3 diaper and you are wearing between 6 and 9 months clothes. Your legs are so long that some of your 6 month cloths are already too small.
A few new nicknames for you this month, mommy had begun calling you punkin little, punky, buggy boo, buggy boozy and fussy bunny when you are being fussy : ) Daddy is sticking with monkey and BRINley, his way of happily shouting out your name and making you giggle.
You've gotten so much more giggly as well and find many things Mommy and Daddy do hilarious. You've started to like to be held up in the air more and will giggle when we tickle your tummy.
Brinley you are amazing and we are so blessed to be your parents. Daddy is really enjoying his time home taking care of you at "Daddy daycare" and Mommy loves coming home each day to your smiling face. It's hard to believe that we get to be your parents every day. You are truly wonderful and we enjoy telling you that everyday!
And of course, there are pictures:

You are an escape artist when it comes to your socks. But we love finding these little guys around the house. You have taken over our world in so many wonderful ways!
