Since I'm cheating a bit and post-dating these blog posts, our dear sweet Brinley is actually almost 7 months at this point!
Looking back at the 5 month post, she has changed so much in the past almost 2 months now that it is really hard for me to separate out each month. So I decided to not put so much pressure on myself and keep this one light on text and full of pictures and catch-up on the written part on her official "7 month" post.
From what I remember at 6 months, the biggest changes were that she began eating lots more foods. We decided to stop cereals and go for veggies and fruits. She has not been a big fan of fruits, but she has loved her veggies! Her favorite is peas, but she also enjoy sweet potatoes and squash. Carrots is a third runner up, but she does eat those pretty well too. She will eat the apple sauce if mommy is persistent but doesn't want anything to do with pureed pears or bananas. She will however devour them un-pureed. More to come on that in the 7 month post.
Mobility has also continued to skyrocket and she just does not want to stay still! She's constantly kicking, squirming and grabbing everything in sight! There have unfortunately been two cardboard instances where she's got ahold of it and gotten it in her mouth before Daddy and Mommy could snatch it away. Good news is that she is alright and we have learned to be lighting fast and keep anything potentially harmful way out of the way!
She's also loving her floor time and will roll around on the blanket and play all day.
At 6 months she was weighing in at just about 17 lbs and 28 inches long. The doctor said at her check-up that she was doing great!
I will save more of the details for the 7 month post but life is definitely getting a lot crazier around here and a lot more fun! We can't believe it's been a 1/2 year since you were born baby girl. We can't imagine our life without you and always talk about how blessed we are to have such a wonderful little girl. We thank God everyday that he chose us as your parents!

| Look of wonder at the mobile above her changing table : ) |
| Silly photo that we used as a gag gift for my Dad and Robbin for Christmas. We made them a magnet that said "raise your right hand and promise to always be a Viking fan!" |
| Loves eating everything and anything, including her feet! |
| You've also become really interested in the cats. Fibi is a good sport. |
| I just had to get these sweet little overalls. Too cute! |
| Flying baby! |

| Matt sent this pic to me when I was on a work trip to New York with the caption "kiss my butt" : ) |

| She still loves underwater world! |
| Rollin all over the place |
| She likes that cereal! |
| So fun watching you go after toys. This was one of the first times she really went for the crawl ball. |
| Wants to get moving! |
| Cute new shoes that we thought would help keep the socks on. Nope. |
| But they sure taste good! |
| Our Bradley class had a reunion and it was so fun meeting all the babies. We bonded with this group as we were all walking the journey of first babies together. |
| Uncle James is still smitten and has gotten much more confident with holding her. |
| Special baby's first Christmas ornament that Matt and I bought on our baby moon to Disney. Made me cry when I pulled it out. So happy to have her here with us this Christmas! |
| First Christmas outfit to attend a "tea" with Grandma Ann |
Wow. That was a lot of pictures. I seriously think we need to stop taking so many pictures of this kid cause if we ever have any more someday we will never be able to keep up! ; )
Have to end though with the obligatory 6 month sticker pics. Love this series of shots since it captures the essence of her at this stage.
