Dedication celebration

On Saturday, Feb. 8, we celebrated the dedication of our sweet little girl. Our church performs a dedication ceremony for little ones versus a more traditional baptism. They believe that water baptism is a choice that you make when you are old enough to make your faith your own. We are fully supportive of that and enjoyed celebrating this sweet milestone with many dear family and friends.

Since the service was at 4 p.m., we decided to host a dinner for everyone at our house afterwards, since it would be cutting into Brinley's bed time to go out. And she definitely takes after her mommy in getting cranky and wanting to go to bed when she gets sleepy!

Both my mom and my mother-in-law helped out getting everything ready for the party and Matt and I were really happy with how it turned out. It was a wonderful gathering of close family and friends and I think everyone had a good time.

Brinley of course was an angel, even though her eating and sleeping schedule got a bit out of whack with all of the activity.

Overall, a wonderful memory with our sweet girl!
