November was filled with friends, food and preparing for Christmas! We started out the month by hosting our second annual Friendsgiving. It was lots of fun and of course lots of work, but the food turned out amazing!
I then convinced Matt to let me decorate early for Christmas so we'd have more time to enjoy the decorations. It's been fun having the house looking so festive for so much longer. Love it!
We were also supposed to go to Mexico for a week but ended up cancelling the trip to save money. Plus with me being on leave, a week on the beach didn't seem as restful as it normally would, so we are thinking of putting the money towards a Disney trip in Spring or Fall. It was a bummer not to go on the vacation but we decided to head to the Dells instead. We know we made the right decision for our fam.
We then went to Thanksgiving in Wisconsin and got to spend some great quality time with Aunt Audrey and her family. It was an amazing weekend but boy, are we weary of traveling! Looking forward to a more low-key December with lots of fun family memories and holiday celebrations! :)
